Sparrow Schools Foundation was set up in the UK on 29th August 2000 to give financial and other help to Sparrow Schools in South Africa and to foster cultural links between students and children in the UK.
The Foundation raises money to fund school facilities and specialist teachers in Sparrow Schools South Africa and we provide support through teacher exchange and volunteer programmes. Our bursary programme sponsors children and young people in South Africa who may otherwise not have access to education.
Over the years a close relationship has built up between the teachers and students at Sparrow Schools and the many people in the UK who have met, heard and read about the schools. The ‘Sparrow family’ holds a special place in the heart of every one of our supporters.
