Educate a Child Bursary Scheme

By donating just £15 a month you will be able to subsidise the education of a child aged 7-14 at The Sparrow Foundation School.

By donating £15 a month you can fund a bursary for a selected pupil through Sparrow Combined School. These bursaries are a contribution to those pupils who cannot pay the basic school fee and receive no support from family members, the government or other charities. In return you will receive an annual update from the child that you sponsor. You will be allocated a pupil throughout their school career so will be able to see how they develop and grow.

 We run a tiered donation scheme, so if you would kindly like to donate more than £15 a month, you will receive the following benefits:

•  Bronze Tier (£15 per month) - you will receive:
  • The standard annual newsletter with an update about the child you sponsor.
• Silver Tier (£30 per month) – you will receive:
  • The benefits referred to in the Bronze Tier; and
  • The child’s termly report card
• Gold Tier (£40 per month) – you will receive:
  • The benefits referred to in the Bronze Tier and Silver Tier; and
  • A letter written from the child you support giving an update about their life and education

 Giving a bursary really changes lives and gives children, who need extra support, access to an education that is tailored to their needs.
